What is your nationality?
I am British.
Where did you study art?
In 2005, I received my HND in Fine Art from Hereford College of Art and Design. Three years later I started my master’s degree in printmaking from the University of Wales (Newport). I will complete my M.A. in Printmaking this year (i.e. autumn 2010).
What’s interesting about you?
I was a registered European engineer. I specialized in environmental engineering. From 2000 to 2001, I was president of the Technical Advisers Group, which is a local authority association of senior managers in technical services.
What exhibitions have you entered?
Since 2004, I have participated in 49 juried, group, and solo exhibitions. Some of these include the Hunting Art Prizes exhibition in the Royal College of Art Gallery in London and the Triennial Open Print exhibition in the Royal West of England Academy.
Do you volunteer anywhere?
Yes. I serve as an adviser to Arts for Relief and Missions, which is a United States based charity organization.
What other art-based experiences do you have?
In April of 2009, I led a workshop in monoprinting in the Apple Store Gallery in Brockhampton. Later that year, I demonstrated printmaking at the Gorsley Festival. This festival drew a total of 3,000 visitors. In fact, the Gorsley Festival invited me to sit on their core planning team for their upcoming Festival in August of 2010.
