The ocean offers himself to her.

She burst from the jagged cliffs past the barnacle covered boulders splashing

A smile

Unrestrained from earth and sky, she tosses in his waves.

The swimmer swims, but he controls.
Gashes decorate her beautiful limbs.

She gulps in more of his intoxicating delights.

For a moment he turns to tend another of his pets

but he returns.
he further seduces her inebriated mind.
There is pleasure in his potion and freedom in his captivity.
he caresses her body and washes her wounds with toxic foam.

A tear

A novice at struggling she pours herself in while those on the shore shout lifelines to pull her

home.

But the sea is far too great and spiritual and harsh.
Her ecstasy and his waves deafen her ears to their mortality.

And a rainbow appears

Followed by another

Which is bigger and brighter than the first

Is this a sign?

Maybe the storm is clearing

Lillies that seem to live on eternally

Sit on the shrine

Reminding me that life goes on

I feel a sense of peace

Gate, Gate, parasamgate

Everything is full of emptiness

But within that emptiness lies a world of possibilities

Nothing is created or destroyed

From the energy continuum, hers flowed

Into mine

And back again into the void to be

Born again

Like water changing into clouds

That give birth to rain

You never really died

But only changed form

I took this photo while I was a the resident photographer at the Badlaner night club in Missoula Montana.   I love music just as much as I love to take pictures.  I was there just about every night photographing the local bands.  I got to know most of them very well and even became friends with some of them.  They were also big supporters of my art. 

I took this photo while on a photography club outing when I was studying abroad in Japan.  There was a series of about five of these window displays.  I was intrigued by the vibrant color and the fact that they were just there.  I had never seen anything like it before.

The world is a canvas

We are children throwing paint upon its surface

Life is the result

Random colors thrown together to make a pattern

Yet, it is this randomness

That allows the infinite possibilities within each moment

So why not put on some jazz

Dance around in the paint

And play twister with your mind

White glowing serenity falls from the sky and hits the ground without making a sound

Yet it echoes throughout my soul

One flake becomes two

Becomes three

Becomes four

How can something so cold still warm my heart?

Ice on a pond, outlined by tiny white flakes of snow

It paints a picture of such beauty that I am mesmerized

Snow falling on the ground, cleansing what was once unclean

Purifying something once tainted by three seasons worth of life

A new beginning

Starting over

Out of darkness comes light

Something black now becomes white

White crystals falling from t he sky

Tiny little holograms reflecting all that surrounds me

I see all that is

Ever was

All that could be

I am surrounded by an endless sea of possibilities

 Of which I am but one

I am everything

 And yet I am nothing

A paradox of duality

 I am at home in the void

From water comes vapor

From vapor comes water

From water…snow

And so it goes

No end

No beginning

Just a circle

A circle of being

Spring becomes summer

Summer becomes fall

Fall becomes winter

And snow falls

I look out the window

And I see a sea of white

I am a witness to pure white nirvana of my consciousness revealed

This paper is white

Clouds are white

Snow is white

This paper is a cloud

The cloud is snow

I am the snow
